The Tudor reign (1485-1603) was an important period during which the United Kingdom transitioned from the Middle Ages to modern society. Such a turning point occurred in various fields such as politics, economy, ideology and culture. The foreign policy of Britain, including Britain, also began to change from the Middle Ages to the modern change. With regard to the nature of British foreign policy in the 16th century, there are some differences in history. Based on the analysis of the different understandings of the Tudor diplomatic policy in the academic circles, this article attempts to compare the different characteristics of the British diplomatic and modern diplomacy of the Middle Ages by using the theories of state sovereignty by French scholar Bardon and Dutch Grotius, Proving the Modernity of British Diplomacy in 16th Century.
