“英语国家社会与文化”是本科院校英语专业开设的一门重要课程,旨在增强学生对目的语国家文化的了解,从而更好地掌握二语的习得。但教学实践中教师教学方式较为传统,课本内容词汇复杂性强,加之大一学生英语基础薄弱,整体教学效果欠佳。探究词条串联法在本科“英语国家社会与文化”课程中的具体应用,其旨在于增强学生们的学习能力,深化将该类背景知识作为百科知识的记忆,最终服务于本科英语专业人才的培养。
“Society and Culture of English-speaking Countries ” is an important course offered by English major in undergraduate colleges to enhance students’ understanding of the culture of destination language countries so as to better grasp their second language acquisition. However, the teaching methods of teachers in teaching practice are more traditional. The content of the textbooks is very complex. In addition, the freshmen have a weak English foundation and the overall teaching effect is not good. Explore the tandem method in the undergraduate “English-speaking countries social and cultural ” specific application, which aims to enhance students’ learning ability, deepen the class background knowledge as a knowledge of encyclopedic knowledge, and ultimately serve the undergraduate English major Talent training.
