Conventional viscometry is generally considered not feasible to evaluate clottingdue to the inevitable destruction of the clot.A method is developed in this paperbased on the monitoring competition between the dynamic formation of the viscoelas-tic structure of a clot and the rotational shear destruction of the firming clot.Threeparameters obtained from τ-t curve are as follows:①recalcification time tr,markedby an increase in shear stress from original constant level;②viscosity increasing ratedη/dt,indicated by the slope of a linear increasing segment in up-hill curve;and③
