《小学德育纲要》指出:“各学科是向学生进行思想品德教育最经常的途径。”在实现教学目标的各科教学中,英语教学对学生进行德育渗透具有很特别的作用,因为英语不仅是一门学科,更是一门语言,是信息的载体。所以,在平常的英语教学中,我们英语教师应根据英语学科的特点,结合教材的内容,学生的生活实际、年龄特征、生理和个性特点认真地挖掘,利用教材中的德育素材,运用有效的教学策略,采用学生易于、乐于接受的方式,有目的、有计划地对学生进行德育教育,使学生具有爱国主义、集体主义精神,热爱社会主义国家,弘扬优秀文化传统,逐步形成正确的人生观、世界观、价值观。
