OBJECTIVE: To analyze and compare the application effects of quality circle management PICC catheterization and CVC catheterization in the management of patients with cancer chemotherapy. Methods: Changshan County People’s Hospital started to provide special medication management for patients with tumor chemotherapy in June 2015 and implemented quality nursing intervention for cancer patients, and identified the quality circle management with the theme of “increasing the safety of catheterized chemotherapy in cancer patients” Activities, select 50 cases of tumor chemotherapy patients as intervention group, using PICC catheterization method. At the same time, select the quality circle management activities to carry out the first 50 cases of chemotherapy patients as a control group, the use of CVC catheterization, the success rate of the first two sets of patients with catheterization, risk events were compared, the two groups of patients catheterization time , Catheter indwelling time, hospitalization time. Results: The success rate of primary catheterization (92.0%) in intervention group was higher than that in control group (70.0%), and the incidence of risk event (0.0%) was lower than that in control group (18.0%). There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The operation time of catheter in intervention group was lower than that in control group, and catheter indwelling time was higher than that in control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: To carry out quality circle management activities and improve the PICC catheterization procedure can significantly improve patient quality of care and reduce risk events, thereby further improving the prognosis of patients with chemotherapy.
