According to the concentration of Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd and As in indoor Carassius auratus of 3 Neophocaena phocaenoides asiaeorientalis breeds and keeping records , Estimated the range of daily and weekly estimated intake of these trace elements in the finless porpoise under feeding conditions. The demand side of essential elements is similar to the tentative weekly tolerable intake (PTWI) proposed by WHO / FAO but the intake of more toxic elements Cd, As and Pb Much higher than the body’s PTWI. A study on 10 tissues and organs of a finless porpoise collected from the ancient lane of the Tian’zhou Island in Hubei Province showed that Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd and As after ingestion showed the tendency of tissue and organ selective accumulation. This may be mainly related to whale-type organs and organs with special requirements for the corresponding elements. The results of this study also show the need to establish norms for the regulation of food safety in cetaceans to control food contamination. A more in-depth study of the relationship between trace elements and vital functions in various tissues and organs should be one of the important directions for the development of nutrition and ecotoxicology of trace elements in cetaceans.
