With the rapid technological progress, product development in the global market has also greatly increased. The biggest impact these developments and advances have on design is that designers now can more easily produce and sell finished products such as books, bicycles, or furniture. The emergence of this new situation can be attributed to several factors: the dematerialization of product manufacturing and the cost reduction of equipment; the dematerialization of many products themselves, such as software and web sites, but also the use of simpler but more robust materials The creation of durable goods; the possibility of creating electronic models of products that can be used to attract financial support and trigger public debate; and the opportunity to sell products cheaply through electronic means.
