我省盐碱地面积,据初步统计,大约有645万亩左右。分布在6个专区56个县境,其中以豫东和豫北沿黄河两岸的冲积平原地区成较大面积的分布。这些盐碱地栽种作物,经常是十种九不收,就是收了产量也不高。两年来,我省人民在党的正确领导下,向盐碱土地展开了改良和利用的斗争,不少地区试验场(站)以及社员群众,采取了因地制宜,实行用深耕,灌水冲洗排盐以及多施有机肥料等办法,创造了不少的改良盐碱地的成功经验,现介绍两个典型如下,供各地参考。一、水利科学院与引黄管理局和省水利科学研究所协作,1957—1958年在新乡县大召营乡文营村西选择1.45亩地势低洼而平坦的一片光板盐碱地,进行种植小麦试验,由于采取了适当的水利土壤改良措施,结果良好,终于获得亩产417斤小麦的丰收,比轻度盐碱化土地上小麦亩产50—80斤的增产五倍以上。根
