Acidic additives are ubiquitous in aminocatalysis,particularly with primary amines catalysts.On the other hand,water intrinsically accompanies every different aminocatalytic modes involving secondary and primary amines and most of such aminocatalytic processes are known to work well under “wet” conditions.
