Among the main agents of global warming,the long-lived greenhouses,in particular N2O have even more negative than CO2 [1].CO is a significantly toxic gas and has adverse effect on human health [2].Hence simultaneous treatment of both these gases is more beneficial.Many attempts using different noble metal based catalysts for CO oxidation by N2O reduction to N2 and O2.However,these methods have some limitations.During the present study,nonthermal plasma (DBD) assisted CO oxidation by in-situ reduction of N2O was tested.NTP was generated in DBD plasma reactor and was used for this purpose.Products were identified by an online GCand confirmed with a GC-MS [3].
