  近年来得益于技术以及测量手段的进步自旋电子学得到了长足的发展,其中自旋流的产生于操控吸引了最广泛的研究兴趣。自旋流只能通过有限的手段产生,其中包括自旋霍尔效应[1– 3],非局域自旋阀,自旋泵浦效应[4–6]以及自旋赛贝克效应[10–13]。其中最吸引人的便是自旋赛贝克效应,该效应可以通过加在铁磁绝缘体两端的温度差来产生自旋流,而不需要复杂的光刻过程或者高频激发。当自旋流被注入到邻近的非磁薄膜中,逆自旋霍尔效应会将自旋流转化成可测量的电流,从而研究着可以通过这个电流的大小表征自旋赛贝克的性质。通常,探测自旋流的材料为具有自旋轨道耦合的5d金属如铂,钨等金属。
