As the growth of peoples understanding and acceptance in the value of old industrial buildings,the regeneration of old industrial buildings has received more and more attention in urban renewal.There also have been plenty of successful domestic and overseas cases on building regeneration.In this academic field,most people focus on renewal principles,design methods and techniques.Whereas little attention has been paid on the post occupancy and usersdemands after the regeneration.According to this,the paper chooses Dalian No.15 warehouse which has been renovated recently to study the userspsychological response towards the regenerated space environment and the corresponding relations between psychology,behavior and space feature.The SD method is mainly used to evaluate and study the target space.The setting 24 evaluation factors are classified into three categories: space perception,space feature and design element.Through the userspsychological response towards the environment feature of No.15 Warehouse,the paper studies out an "architecture language" dimension,quantifies these psychological feelings and draws a quantitative description and evaluation to this architectural space by analyzing the quantified psychological value.Then summing up outstanding advantages and existing problems in its renovation through statistical analysis of data.On the basis of this puts forward suggestions to the improvement in the subsequent regeneration period,to improve the quality of regenerated architectural space environment from the perspective of humanization.
