从2009年以来不断有公司开始尝试通过网络进行生鲜农产品的销售,2012和2013年更是加快发展步伐,网上买菜逐渐改变传统以超市和农贸市场为主的消费方式已成趋势.2014年-2015年,生鲜电商的市场拓展越来越快速化、模式越来越多样化.2015-2016年,资本寒冬下,生鲜电商领域依然融资事件不断。
在国际原糖无序进口的背景下，国内糖价从2011/12榨季的每吨6477元跌至2012/13榨季的5513元和2013/14榨季的4699元，3年跌幅达27.5％；2014/15榨季，行业自律，糖价小幅回升至4877元/吨，但依然远远低于制糖成本。
