Malignant lymphomas are a very heterogeneous group of tumours and the etiology of this disease remains unclear.Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is an important enzyme in folate metabolism and DNA synthesis.MTHFR A1298C polymorphism leads to reduced MTHFR activity,which may lead to cancer development.However,the association between MTHFR A1298C polymorphism and lymphoma risk is uncertain and controversial.
