Silicon boron nitride raise interest as promising materials for high-temperature applications such as structural materials for the future generation of radome.In this context,nanostructure ceramics are expected to exhibit improved dielectric properties as well as better behavior under erosion when compared to conventional materials.We report here the formation study of SiBN nanostructure through the direct pyrolysis of polyborosilazane with ammonia.A monolithic of SiBN ceramic was pyrolyed with ammonia as reactive atmosphere,leading to SiBN nanostructure with various C contents controlled by the pyrolysis conditions.
