Based on the most stable glassy composition Ga8Sb32S60 in the Ga-Sb-S chalcogenide glassy system, by substituting Ga with Ge, we further fabricated a series of Ga8-xGexSb32S60 (x=0, 2, 4, 6, 8) glasses.The effects of Ge addition on the structure, thermal, and optical properties of the glass were studied.
