Objetive To investigate the relationship between serum dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (sDPP-4) and body fat content and distribution in type 2 diabetes (T2DM).Methods A total of 40 T2DM patients treated in The First Pepole s Hostipal of Yunnan Province from July 2013 to November 2013 were enrolled.The height, weight, body mass index (BMI) were measured; total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) were detected by electrochemiluminescence assay (Abbott C16000) and serum dipeptidyl peptidase-4 were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (Ray Biotech).Body fat content and lean mass was measured by dual energy X-ray (DEXA).
