Lots of research on upgrading of bio-oil in supercritical alcohols shows a potential to produce vehicle fuels from crude bio-oil.However,the separation of solvent alcohols and upgraded bio-oils remains a problem.In this paper,upgrading of crude bio-oil derived from fast pyrolysis of rice husk was carried out in supercritical CO2 with the catalysts of Pd,Ru,Pt(supported on activated carbon).Thus,the solvent can be recycled after being separated from upgraded bio-oil spontaneously.There are mainly esterification and hydrogenation reactions during the upgrading of crude bio-oil.Both physical properties and organic compounds composition were upgraded obviously.Higher reaction temperature,higher initial hydrogen pressure and Pt/C leads to a higher consumption of hydrogen and a better effect of hydrogenation.Higher reaction temperature and Ru/C leads to a better effect of esterification reaction.
