　　Metalate nanosheets are fascinating materials,because of interesting properties due to their highly anisotropic shapes.We previously reported the synthesis of layered titanates with bulky interlayer cations by aqueous solution process.Transparent aqueous sols containing layered titanate nanocrystals were obtained by mixing Ti alkoxide and tetraalkylammonium hydroxide(NR4OH)aqueous solution.
