NF-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is the key transcription factors which binds to the antioxidant response element (ARE) and involves in the cellular antioxidant defence.The previous studies found that adult central neurogenesis was inhibited in cerebral ischemia period due to oxidative stress.Our previous work has confirmed that the hypoxia significantly inhibited the proliferation of neural stem cells in vitro and induce apoptosis.
