A novel hybrid orbitrap instrument,Orbitrap Fusion,operates orbitrap and linear ion trap mass analyzers in parallel in contrast to the traditional serial configuration.This instrument is capable of～20 Hz MS/MS acquisition,enabling data-independent acquisition (DIA) spanning 600 m/z with 3 m/z-wide isolation windows every 10 seconds.
