With real-time group editing system,a group of users can view and edit the shared documents by communication networks anytime and anywhere.Under the circumstance,it is surely inevitable that the operations of users will conflict. Thus, how to resolve the conflict and how to maintain the consistency of sites, are two of the most important issues for designing and completing this kind of system. In the past, the AST(Address Space Transformation),invented from the research of the real-time text editing systems, could maintain consistency among more sites. The Multi Version conflict resolution strategy,to a certain extent, could take users different intentions into account. However, the former strategy can only preserve the intention of one user when conflicts occur. This paper provides a new solution of conflict resolution, named ICCR(Intention Combination Conflict Resolution)strategy to support the intention combination based on the document model of AST with the idea of Multi Version. This strategy preserves not only all users editing consistency, but also the conflict operations combination effects by storing all versions of operational objects. In this paper the effectiveness of the algorithm is analyzed, and the implementation process is described by the case analysis. Moreover, the availability of the strategy can be proved by our experiments.
