Macrophages play a critical role in host defense and homeostasis maintenance.Our previous work and the other literatures showed Notch signal is essential for M1 macrophage polarization in inflammatory stimulation, but the mechanisms by which Notch-mediated macrophage polarization has been unclean In our study, we identify miR-125a as a new downstream molecule of the Notch pathway through microRNA array.Notch-mediated miR-125a up-regulation can control myeloid cells development and maintain its survival.
