　　Colorectal cancer (CRC) has become one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in Hong Kong.The overactive Wnt/β-catenin signaling may contribute to colorectal carcinogenesis by promoting proliferation, preventing apoptosis and enhancing the motile and invasive capabilities of tumor cells.Six 1, a nuclear homeodomain protein essential for the development of diverse tissues, has a close and complex association with Wnt/β-catenin signaling in various biological processes.
