The world is changing fast.Due to globalization and structural realignment in the global economy, the implications of land use and land policy for sustainable development and place performance have become even more important.Sustainability will be a major theme of the 21st century.So will renewable energy.More importantly, land use policy will leverage the relevance of amenities and place attributes to deliver new economic paradigms that will make it difficult to separate land policy from economic development policies.Dr.Adeleja will share his views on critical emerging issues in land policy in the 21st century and offer some ecommendations appropriate for China and other BRIC nations.
