Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of lactose-free formula and lactase preparation as a dietary treatment of acute childhood diarrhoea.Method An electronic search was conducted on the EMBASE,Google scholar,PubMed,ScienceDirect and MedlinePlus and CNKI.The total effective rate of treatment and the duration of diarrhoea were identified as primary outcomes and were compared in this paper.
