Objective: To explore the effects of chronic alcoholism and its withdrawal on the pain timed dose-response relationship(TRDD)in rats. Methods: Sixteen male SD rats were randomly divided into 2 groups, normal group(n=8)and alcohol group(n=8).Rats in alcohol group were fed with alcohol solution as the only water source, which concentration was increased from 6%to 12%at 3%per 2 days, and then 12%alcohol concentration were maintained for 8 weeks.
