Chiral molecular materials have been attracting the scientists attention due to their extensive applications in the field of biomedicine.Nanoscale chirality, which differentiates from conventional molecular chirality, is offering a new opportunity for the bioapplications.[1] In this presentation, we will introduce the recent progress of our group on bioapplication of chiral inorganic nanomaterials, which mainly includes: (1) synthesis of chiral inorganic nanomaterials;[2] (2) the optical coupling between chiral biomolecules and inorganic nanomaterials;[3,4] (3) application of optical activity of chiral nanomaterials in bioanalysis and biotherapy.[5,6] It is expected that such study will open the door towards understanding and manipulation of nanoscale chirality, which can be further used in bio-diagnosis and therapy.
