The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective effects of sulfated chitosan of C3 sulfation (TCTS) on the glycerol-induced acute renal failure.Renal injury was assessed by measuring plasma creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and ions in plasma and urine.Five groups of rats were employed in this study.
