Objectives Patients with high levels of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) have a high risk for developing hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).However, little is known about whether high levels of HBsAg increase risk of HCC recurrence following curative resection.Herein we aimed to investigate the association between preoperative HBsAg level and risk of postoperative HCC recurrence.
