Effect of Spark Plasma Sintering Temperature on Structure and Ionic Conductivity of Garnet Type Li6.

  Garnet type lithium ion conductor “Li6.5La3Zr1.5Ta0.5O12”(LLZTO)was prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)with a pressure of 40 MPa and at sintering temperatures ranging from 900 ℃ to 1200 ℃ for 20 minutes.SEM,XRD and AC impedance were used to determine the microstructure,phase formation and Li-ion conductivity of the samples,respectively.The results showed that SPS temperature has a significant effect on the density,microstructure,phase composition and ionic conductivity of the LLZTO ceramics.
