Impaired Aging is the rampant public health pandemic that modern societies have to face all together.As extremely sedentary lifestyle is common in most modern ways of living,interventions targeting elderly people at risk of frailty or functionally aimpaired are absolute necessity to maintain functional status,independent living and overall limiting significant negative impacts on health-related quality of life(HRQoL).In this keynote through the use of two studies involving old deconditioned elderly people we will describe the behavioral-functional parameters involved in physical exercise such as Tai Chi(TC)and how systemic ecological lifestyle program can positively impact autonomy and improve general health functions.Comprehensive systemic model of intervention will pin points how TC mechanic and functional essence has more potential as lifestyle and therapeutic exercise program than most conventional practices and care.
