Objective To evaluate the effect of FISH studies and conventional G-banding analysis in detecting chromosomal abnormalities in MDS patients.Methods 1132 bone marrow samples were obtained from 957 patients diagnosed with MDS in University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) from January 1,2003 to December 31,2010.
