Wideband (WB) MRI, a novel technique that utilized expanded bandwidth, has been demonstrated to increase the throughput of both 2D and 3D MR imaging.Various MR imaging methods, especially those that require large coverage with high spatial resolution, have successfully take advantage of Wideband MRI and obtain speedup as high as to 6-10X.In this talk, Ⅰ will start by introducing the fundamental principle of Wideband MRI, followed by several interesting applications of this next generation MRI technology.Specifically, Ⅰ will address WB MR imaging principles and quality, high-resolution isotropic wideband MR imaging and its applications in the brain and spine examination. Finally, Ⅰ will also address some WB MRI applications in the cancer screening.
