在海南省的南渡江、昌化江和万泉河进行史前考古调查,发现旷野遗址2处和洞穴遗址一处.获得石制品十余件,其中有石核、石片、刮削器和砍砸器.遗址的考古学年代初步确定为旧石器时代.这些文化遗物对于研究海南的史前历史具有重要的意义,也为研究我国的旧石器文化提供新的资料.
