In the conventional packed bed reactor with pellet catalysts, the pellet catalysts shows low effective activity which are attributed to heat and mass transfer limitation due to low thermal conductivity of ceramic support and diffusion resistance into the pellet [1].Hence, metal structured catalysts with high surface area to volume ratio such as monolith, metal foam and mesh have attract great attention as an alternative to conventional pellet catalysts.There are also two main challenges for metal structured catalysts.It is one thing for the detachment and deterioration of catalyst owing to the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between the metal substrate and ceramic catalyst layer.
