Introduction The study deals with the design of efficient exhaust gas cleaning system for biogas engines with particular reference to the development of active and durable catalyst for DeNOx.Biogas fuel can be obtained from biomass using different technologies that have been currently developed.Although the use of multi-channel monolith supports for catalysts is well established in exhaust cleaning systems of engines, catalyst supports based on "short channel structures" [1,2] such as wire meshes or foams, offer new interesting possibilities.Such supports are able to shorten the length of the reactor by as much as 50 times.
