In this paper,three types of smooth-walled horn antennas are designed and simulated,on which performance is focused.The first antenna has a design with a single profiled curve and a dielectric-insert structure.The second antenna is composed of dual profiled curves and the third antenna has the structure of the second antenna with a dielectric inserted.The simulation results at 40GHz show that these three horns all have well performance of low sidelobes,low cross-polarization level and circularly-symmetry after optimization.
