Major mortality reason in colorectal cancer patients is the liver metastases and is seen in %20-70 of patients depending on the stage of the tumor.In order to achieve the optimal results for treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRLM), early and accurate diagnosis and assessment ofthe size of the metastases, and follow-up the patients are very important.To evaluate the accurate and early diagnosis and follow-up the patients radiological assessment like abdominal ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT), 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose uptake on positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) and laboratory findings like carcino-embryogenic antigen (CEA) levels are first steps.
