  The reliability of physical assets has recently been recognized as a major determinant factor for enabling efficient operations in the field of transportation and logistics(TAL)domain.Traditional asset management system focuses on the aspect of asset availability for supporting optimal operations planning in TAL.Essential information of equipment conditions and environment risks are not integrated into logistics control system.
