Flos Carthami, the dried flower petals of safflower, Carthamus tinctorius is an important crude drug in traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, with the effects of quickening the blood flow, freeing the channels, it is used in the prevention and treatment of cardio-vascular and thrombosis diseases in China.Through clinical administration many hospitals in China have proved that it has good effects in the prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases(cerebral thrombus, cerebral embolism, cerebral ischemia and lacuna embolism).
