It is well-known that natural images tend to have sparse representations in certain redundant systems like wavelet frames.This sparsity prior can be used the resolve the ill-posedness of many inverse problems in image processing.In the past few years,wavelet frame based regularization methods have widely been adopted in various research topics.In this talk,I will introduce two of our recent work on wavelet frame based multi-channel image restoration.The first work is about over/under-exposure correction in digital color photographs,and the second one is about pansharpening image fusion.Mathematical models for those two problems will be presented and analyzed,some numerical results will be shown as well.
