Aims: The vascular endothelial cells synthesize and release vasodilators such as Nitric oxide (NO) and epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs).In normal physiological state, NO inhibits EETs mediated vascular relaxation.In this study, we tested the hypothesis that nitric oxide (NO) inhibits EETs and explored the mechanism of NO inhibition on EETs in isolated porcine small coronary arterial segments.
