Background,Motivation and Objective Transthoracic echocardiography is recommended by international guidelines to assess wall motion abnormalities suggestive of coronary artery disease (CAD). As conventional Doppler imaging is not sensitive enough to assess myocardial perfusion, the risk stratification of CAD patients can be enhanced by performing myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE). Unfortunately, MCE is scarcely used in clinical practice [1].
