The M25 motorway is a 117-mile (188 km) motorway that (almost) encircles Greater London,England,in the United Kingdom.Originally built mainly as a dual three-lane motorway,much of the motorway is subsequently being widened to dual four-lanes in places.The M25 Later Upgraded Sections (LUS) comprise 2no.sections of motorway in the north east (Section 5-Junctions 23-27) and south east (Section 2-Junctions 5-7) quadrants of the M25.For these sections,the Highways Agency (HA) strategy for Managed Motorways-All Lanes Running (MM-ALR) is being implemented as part of the ongoing 30 year DBFO contract.
