In this study,we demonstrated a novel and facile route to synthesize plasmonic photocatalysts Ag@AgCl with controllable particle size and morphology.Electrospun cellulose acetate(CA)membrane was exployed as a support that provided sites for AgCl crystals in-stu growth.he Ag@AgCl crystals on electrospun CA fibers with exposed {100} and {111} facets were fabricated at room temperture by a double diffusion technique. The crystal structure, morphology and composition of Ag@AgCl were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, attenuated total reflection-infrared intensity, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements, and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer, respectively.
