This talk will describe the use of the new Corning(R) EpicTM label-free detection system for the high throughput study of biomolecular interactions.The EpicTM system comprises a 96/384 well microplate with optical sensors in each well and a sensitive detection instrument.The sensors are coated with a surface chemistry that enables immobilization of a wide variety of biomolecules including proteins,peptides,DNA,and small molecules.Thegeneral utility of the EpicTM platform has been demonstrated using a number of different model biomolecular interactions (protein/protein,protein/drug,small molecule/small molecule).
