The presentation will be focused on application of advanced in vitro technologies, especially in vitro models based on human and animal tissues, and strategies into new discovery and development of new applications of herb medicine by elucidating drug-drug interactions between herb medicines and small molecular therapeutics.The presentation will detail the strategies for establishing the database of drug-drug interactions between herbs and chemical drugs, development of in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo procedures for elucidating the mechanism of drug-drug interactions and its relation to the efficacy, and presentation successful stories for discovery new application of herb medicine.
