Introduction Many efforts have been made to find the so-called green alternatives to conventional fuels.Amongst numerous applications of renewable energy sources, recently the biogas combustion has been receiving more and more attention.The current technology enables biomas to be converted into highly energetic biogas which can be sucessfully used as a fuel in local energy socurces (1-12MWe).The full technological line except the units for biogas production and combustion includes also a gas abatement system.
