Crescendo is developing a single-domain antibody fragment technology using transgenic mice to combine the benefits of a human product with in vivo maturation.This technology will be coupled to a ribosome display platform which enables clone selection and analysis from immunised mice, as well as affinity maturation.The transgenic mice are being developed in a background with immunoglobulin heavy chain, κ light chain and λ light chain loci ablated,through large-scale deletions in their C regions.
